Downtown is Hopping This Week!

There’s so much going on this week – get ready!

On Tuesday you can learn to paint at Grassroots with an artist instructor – all supplies are provided, just bring yourself and a friend! $25/ person, $40/ couple.

You can also taste the flavors of Belguim at Liam’s – these classes have been booked up every time, so see if they can squeeze you in! $30/ person.

On Thursday you’ve got a double treat downtown! Starting at 10 AM you’ve got a Slane & Slane Trunk Show at Jergers – and they’re doing some giveaways too! It lasts until 7 pm, so drop by when you can and check out the show – if you haven’t heard of Slane and Slane, it’s classy + refined, and fresh + unpredictable at the same time! They’ll have refreshments and lots of eye candy, so it’s well worth a look.

And before or after you check that out, get over to the other end of Broad for the Ally B L.A. Preview Party! Alex has just returned from a buying trip in L.A. and she wants to show you the goods!

On Friday, I know I’ll see you at Downtown Nights!

Now, I don’t know what your plans are for this weekend, but I hope they include the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival. I have gotten the scoop that there will be a zoo! They didn’t think the zoo would be able to participate this year, but it will be here! We’re talking camels and such – lots of animals to see, so take the kiddies!

And The Bookshelf and Gallery will have 2 author signings – Kate Ireland and David Treadwell will be signing a new book about Miss Ireland, and Maria Geraci, author of Book Babes Tell All on Saturday. And from 1-3, there will be complimentary massages by Metta Day Spa! (At The Shelf)

You heard it on The Townie!
